About this website
This website is run by Latus Property Group, a trading name of Maxim Stephens, based in Hamilton, New Zealand. By using it you agree to these terms. Contact us at [email protected].
Information, not advice
The information on this website is general. It is not legal, tax, financial or insurance advice for your situation. Tenancy law changes often, so check the current position with Tenancy Services before relying on anything here, and take your own advice.
We show the source and date for the figures we publish. Figures such as median rents are examples, not a promise of what your home will rent for.
Rental appraisals
A rental appraisal is our view of the rent your home could achieve, on the date we write it, with the evidence we used. It is not a registered valuation, and not a promise of the rent, how long the home will take to let, or any return.
Our services
The fees shown on this website are our current fees. Any management or tenant finding service is governed by a written agreement signed by you and Latus. That agreement, not this website, sets out the terms of the service.
Your rights under consumer law
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Our responsibility
We take care with what we publish, but we cannot promise the website will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by relying on the general information on this website instead of getting advice for your situation.
Photos and content
The words and design of this website belong to Latus Property Group. Please do not copy them without asking.
Photos of homes are illustrations, not homes we manage, unless we say so. They come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash License.
Links to other websites
We link to government and other websites for more information. We are not responsible for what they say or how they handle your information.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal information is in our privacy statement, and cookies and ads are explained on our cookies and ads page.
New Zealand law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts and tribunals deal with any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
